Dr. Subodh Mathur
PhD. Economics, MIT, USA
Subodh Mathur is an economist with doctoral degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT), Cambridge. He has wide-ranging international and U.S. policy and operational experience. He has worked in several countries in Asia and Africa as a consultant for the World Bank. He has also worked as an economist for a variety of U.S. agencies. These include the D.C. Public Service Commission, the D.C. Department of Energy and Environment, Maryland Energy Administration, and the U.S. Postal Service.
He has a proven teaching record. He is an occasional adjunct professor of economics at the American University, Washington D.C. He teaches mainly graduate courses. His recently published book titled “India's Path to Prosperity 2022 - 2047: A Workable Agenda for the next 10-15 years briefly elucidates and answers the question that what do we have to do to make India a prosperous country by 2047, when we will celebrate 100 years of political independence?
